Dimitri graduated in Political Science and International Relations (MA) from the Universities of Liège and Brussels and holds a specialisation in Middle-East studies. Dimitri Dombret lived and worked in the Middle-East where he began his career for the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Back in Brussels in 2002, he started to work at the European Parliament for a Belgian Member. He then joined the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs when the State Secretary for European and Foreign Affairs requested his services. His experience continued at the Belgian Permanent Representation to the United Nations in New-York. From 2006 until 2009 he ran a lobbying organisation that gathered several hundreds of Members of Parliament from all over Europe as well as Members of the European Parliament.
He speaks French, English and Italian.
Ilaria joined D&D Consulting Services in February 2016, where she works for both the EU Public Affairs and Public Relations sectors. She holds a Master Degree in Political Sciences with Specialization on Eastern Europe, Russia and the Caucasus from the Free University of Brussels and a Bachelor Degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of Trieste, Italy. She spent an exchange year at Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas, Lithuania and an exchange semester in Higher School of Economics, Moscow.
Italian native, she speaks fluent English and French, and intermediate Russian and Spanish.
Alberto has a Master Degree in Management from the University of Mannheim, Germany and a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and EU economic policies from Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. He is specialized in marketing and business development and has previously worked in this sector in Germany and Malta. He has an interest in EU-China relations and has therefore lived and studied in Beijing, where he acquired skills on how to do business in China.
Italian native, he speaks fluent English and German, and intermediate French and Spanish.
Sorina holds a Master in International Relations from the University of Brussels, a Bachelor in Political Science from University of Bucharest and a Bachelor in Theatre. She began her career in Bucharest, at the National Romanian Parliament, where she worked at the Chamber of Deputies. Then, she came to study to Brussels and started working in European Affairs. Sorina built up experience with the research centre CEVIPOL (Centre d’étude de la vie politique) and as an Intern at the Permanent Representation of Romania to the EU. Before joining D&D Consulting Services, Sorina worked at the European Commission.

Marcel Daniëls, a Belgian national, is currently Managing Director of In Essence Consulting – focusing on EU and government affairs, advocacy and corporate communications
He has more than 35 years’ experience in international corporate and public affairs, advocacy, lobbying and corporate communications. He has worked as senior director and/or Vice-President in various industries ranging from hi-tech to petrochemicals, non-ferrous metals and for the last twelve years the pharmaceutical industry. His territory included Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Australia and the CIS countries.
Companies that he worked for included Tyco (previously Raychem), Exxon Chemical, Alcan Aluminium, MSD, Teva Pharmaceuticals and Merck KGaA, from which he retired earlier this year. For several of these companies (Alcan, Teva and Merck KGaA) he opened the Brussels representation office and was also the managing director.
He organised Exxon Corporation’s first participation at major industrial fairs in the CIS; was co-founder of the Canada-EU Round Table for Business and its first Chairman; and was an active member of several management committees in various industry associations such as Plastics Europe, CEFIC, the European Aluminium Industry, Eurometaux, Medicines for Europe, EuropaBio and Efpia. He successfully lobbied on various dossiers with the EU institutions over the years.
Marcel Daniëls, who speaks six languages, is a graduate from the Catholic University of Leuven and has a post-graduate from the Lomonosov University in Moscow. He worked in Belgium, the UK and the USA.
Gregoriana is an economist, specialized in Finances (Banks, Insurances, Investments), Management and Bankruptcy/Insolvency. She’s a graduate of University Al I Cuza, Iasi, Romania, a former senior lecturer and adviser in Finances for 14 years; she also acted as the Chief Public Relations Officer for the Petre Andrei University, Iasi.
She’s earned an MBA in European Laws as well as a PHD in the Management of Financial Institutions within the University Dunarea De Jos (Romania).
She’s qualified as a Bankruptcy Administrator appointed by the Court, has a good reputation as a trustee, also with an important experience on the Belgium Financial Market. She is also certified as a Prince2 Practitioner.
She speaks fluently English and French.
Roberto De Primis has worked in the Belgian Government, European Institutions and the United Nations for 15 years. He holds an e-MBA from the Solvay Business School of Economics and a Master in European Politics and Regulatory from the University of Leuven.
Since 2017, he is an invited Professor at the Sorbonne University in Paris, where he teaches Geopolitics. Moreover, he is an invited researcher at the University of Quebec in Montreal, for which he publishes analyses about cyberspace and Transatlantic relations.
On top of that, Roberto De Primis frequently intervenes on Belgian and French TV to discuss trend topics in International Relations.
